Tebogo Collet Maise
I was born in Zerust, North West, but was raised in Makapanstard. I am the last born og my parents and currently live at Makapanstard with my grandmother.
I started primary school at Kosea Moeka Primary School (1994 - 1999), then moved to Ithuteng commercial high School (2000 - 2005) and matriculated there and passed with a University exemption.
In 2006 I enrolled to Tshwane University of Technology, department of Fine and Applied Arts. I studied until the B-Tech (FA) level (2011), where I specialised in Art History and Sculpture under the supervision of Runette Kruger and Jan van der Merwe. While studying, I was working at the University library (2011). Currently, I am a developing artist.
I have participated in several art competitions and group exhibitions such as PPC-YCSA (2007), Absa L’artelier (2012), just to name a few. Furthermore I was involved in the Women Journey in Art - a group exhibition in Limpopo.
