Michael Judin

Michael Judin obtained his law degree at the University of the Witwatersrand and commenced practice in Johannesburg at the end of 1969. He is currently the senior partner of the Johannesburg based law firm, Goldman Judin Inc.. Goldman Judin is the winner of the International Law Office Client Choice 2012 Award in the general corporate (South Africa) category.

Michael is a director of, and legal adviser to, the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in South Africa. On 22 November 2006, Michael was inducted as an honorary life member of AmCham in recognition of exemplary leadership and dedicated service.

Michael is admitted as an attorney in Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland, and is a member of the International Bar Association and an associate member of the American Bar Association. Michael is a member of the e-commerce advisory committee of the Financial Services Board of South Africa. He is a director of the Hospice Association of the Witwatersrand. He is an honorary member of the Institute of Directors of Southern Africa (IOD) and sits on the nomination committee of the IOD.

He is a member of the committee that wrote the Code for Responsible Investing in South Africa (CRISA), and a member of the committee that wrote King III, South Africa's Corporate Governance Code and Report, writing the chapter dealing with negotiation, mediation and arbitration. He is an honorary patron of the CGF Research Institute (Pty) Ltd and a patron of The Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa (WESSA) and an adviser to the Cancer Association of South Africa.
